Joanne Halbrecht, MD, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon at CDA Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, is a pioneer in the field of Orthobiologics and Regenerative Medicine, as well as minimally invasive Orthopedic and Sports Medicine procedures. Before relocating to Coeur d’Alene in 2019, Dr. Halbrecht was the founder and medical director of Boulder Institute for Sports Medicine where she practiced for 24 years. In 2015 she established Boulder Regenerative Medicine. She was the first in the state of Colorado to use adipose (fat) tissue processing it with the FDA-cleared Lipogems® device and has since performed hundreds of procedures. She is a member of the Biologics Alliance, a group of orthopedic surgeons who are known worldwide for their research, knowledge and use of biologics. Dr. Halbrecht was elected Director of National Patient Advocacy in the group. She has also authored papers on stem cell therapy.

Dr. Halbrecht is sought out for her expertise in regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy and has lectured nationally on the subject. Her experience and expertise are an invaluable asset to CDA Regenerative Medicine offering state-of-the-art treatment options.
